This warning occurs when your browser is not set up to store a temporary "cookie" on your computer, which is necessary to access STCU's NetTeller. It can also occur if a previously stored cookie becomes damaged.
If you turned down an invitation to "accept cookies" when signing on, go back and sign on again, but this time choose to "accept."
Try clearing your browser's cache. For steps on how to do this for various browsers, use our NetTeller Troubleshooter.
If you are receiving this message in Windows Vista with Internet Explorer, you need to add stcu.org to Trusted Sites. You can follow the steps in our article, There has been a problem during transit - Windows Vista, to do this.
This error message also may appear when you use your browser's "Back" or "Refresh" buttons instead of NetTeller's navigation. In this case, the solution is to click "Log Off" in NetTeller, close your browser completely down, bring it up and sign on again. Proceed to use NetTeller and its built-in navigation -- not your browser's "Back" or "Refresh" buttons.
If you see the Blocked Cookie Icon at the bottom of your screen while you are at our home page, Internet Explorer is blocking NetTeller's security cookie. To access NetTeller, double-click the icon, right-click any of the "stcu.org" lines, choose Always Accept cookies from this site, and close Internet Explorer before trying again.
If your company or organization uses a firewall that changes your IP address, you may not be able to access NetTeller.
